Nocturnal

Nocturnal is a handmade linocut printed with Gold Cranfield Traditional Relief Ink on Black Paper.

I was inspired by anatomical bat illustrations and wanted to combine it with my traditional tattoo style.

All prints are numbered and signed.

Paper size is approx. 24.8 x 13.2 cm

Due to the imperfect nature of the printing process all prints will be unique and slightly different to the ones seen in these images.

This started as a quick sketchbook drawing and I liked it so much that I decided to turn it into a lino print. The wings are my favourite part of this piece and once I did a test print in my sketchbook I knew that I needed to see how it would look printed with gold ink on black paper.
